Bulli was built in Sydney. She was towed to NZ behind a freighter and spent her life trudging across the Auckland Harbour to and from the Chelsea Sugar works. She towed the barges, that were barely larger than she was; laden with sacks of sugar to Kings Lower Landing
Here she is at Cooks Lower Landing unloading sugar sacks. It is an interesting shot that encapsulates a way of life long since gone.
